Srinagar, April 07 (KNO) : Today IGP Kashmir Shri Swayam Prakash Pani accompanied by DIG SKR Shri Amit Kumar and SSP Shopian Shri Shriram Ambarkar Dinkar took stock of the situation in Shopian.
During the visit besides police officials he met DC Shopian and other officials of CPMF as well. At length challenges for policing was discussed with the district police administration. IGP instructed the men to stress on professional policing .
He also inspected some of the developmental work undertaken by the district police in terms infrastructure building. During his visit the IGP gave instructions to the police officers to follow proper SOPs while dealing with any law and order situation and enhance the joint training capabilities to address difficult scenarios.(KNO)
